Nanchang Hangkong University（NCHU) is a multidisciplinary university with engineering as its main focus, and coordinated development in engineering, science, liberal arts, management, economics, law, education, and art. It was one of the six aviation institutions founded in China and is also authorized to confer doctoral degrees. The university is located in Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province, with three campuses, covering an area of more than 233 hectare.

The university currently has 18 professional colleges, 4 management-type colleges, and 1 independent college, with over 27,000 full-time students, including more than 23,000 ordinary undergraduates, over 4,400 graduate students, and more than 200 international students. The university has achieved remarkable results in education and teaching, owning 1 national innovation practice base, 2 national experimental teaching demonstration centers, 5 national distinctive majors, 1 national teaching team, 10 national top-tier courses, and 21 national top-tier undergraduate majors. Additionally, the university has been approved for 6 pilot majors under the National Outstanding Engineer Education and Training Plan, established 1 specialized and innovative industrial college by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.

In terms of discipline construction, NCHU has 3 ESI global top 4‰ disciplines: materials science, engineering, and chemistry. It has 3 first-level doctoral degree authorization points in aeronautical and astronautical science and technology, instrument science and technology, and environmental science and engineering, along with 3 first-class disciplines in Jiangxi Province. It offers 18 first-level master’s degree authorization points, 16 professional master’s degree authorization points, 1 postdoctoral research station, and 1 postdoctoral innovative practice base. Currently, there are 54 undergraduate enrollment majors (totaling 73 majors), including 5 national distinctive majors and 13 majors that have passed the engineering education certification of the Ministry of Education.

NCHU has outstanding scientific research strength. It has been approved to establish the Jiangxi Innovation Center of the National Laboratory and became a member of the significant national technological strategy innovation platform network in the field of aero-engine. Together with Spain's National Research Council, it co-built the only international joint laboratory among provincial universities, and was approved as the sole UTC (University Technology Center) of the Aero Engine Corporation of China among local universities. It owns 1 national engineering laboratory, 1 national engineering research center, 38 provincial (ministerial) key laboratories (research centers), and provincial key bases. In recent years, NCHU has received1 second prize of the National Technology Invention Award, 1 National Science and Technology Progress Award (participation), 1 Ho Leung Ho Lee Foundation Science and Technology Innovation Award, and more than 200 various awards including the Jiangxi Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, Technology Invention Award, and provincial ministerial social science achievements award. The university undertook over 400 projects, including key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, major projects of the National Social Science Foundation, National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, Excellent Youth Fund projects, and national defense military projects, publishing over 4,500 papers, over 140 monographs, accepting over 1,700 patent applications, and authorizing over 1,000 patents.

NCHU has established stable cooperative relationships with more than 70 universities in 30 countries including Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Japan, South Korea, and Australia. It jointly runs four undergraduate level cooperative education programs and credit recognition programs with universities in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Ireland. there are more than 200 international students from 34 countries including Russia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Turkey, and Morocco. It has been approved as a cultivation institution for the "Chinese Government Scholarship" program for international students and has won the national advanced collective for international students coming to China.

We offer English-taught majors such as Aeronautical Engineering（Aircraft Design Engineering，Drone Engineering）, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Technology，Business Administration，Electronic Commerce（Cross border e-commerce）. NCHU also provides Master Degree Programs taught in English.
